Hi there, fellow Deviants!

I hope this finds you in good health and in a productive mood

I have been a bit less active on the publishing front recently because I have been in training to run a half marathon (13.1 miles or 21 kilometres) in a couple of weeks. I am doing it for charity and while I would love to link directly to my fundraising page, I can't because it has my real name on it!

Anonymity has its plus points when you write what I do, so I'm going to do the next best thing. If you have even a little bit of change to spare and you see a charity box, or you have a favourite charity you donate to when you can, I would love for you to do so in support of my race.
Any #TomHiddleston fans out there will know that #UNICEF is always in need of funds if you would like to go to the Hiddlestoners Have Heart fundraising page.

Or simply cheer me on. Twelve months ago I couldn't even run in my local fun-run.

Or simply take inspiration from my story. Not necessarily to run. Pick up that paintbrush, that guitar, that tennis racket, that microphone... whatever you cannot do today might be what you're great at in twelve months time

Happy New Year to everyone out there in Deviant land!
Wow - another fresh start and with already so much to look forward to before the year has really got going

Today I saw Assassin's Creed and what an action-packed adventure it was. I don't know how hard-core fans will receive it, but I enjoyed it and I hope they will be making more because the characters were well-developed (not just physically!) and ready for the story tellers to let us know what happens next, which is all anyone wants from a story, really. Enough interest and enough truth for us to want to continue to follow the events which unfold from the author's imagination.

Which is a decent enough segue for me to get to what I really want to say.

Thank you for continuing to look at and to read my head noodles. I know I'm not a massive blogger or popular artist of any kind, but to those of you who are popping in to catch my updates, or even just to have a look to see what I'm all about I'd like to say hi and thanks for the 100K views! I'm just an ordinary gal who loves to watch the success of our bright young (and older) things and if I can entertain you while you're visiting, then all the better!

I wish everyone peace and happiness in this New Year of ours and may Thor:Ragnarok be everything you want it to be. Which for me is to see Loki bash the living sh*t out of everyone and then sit back to sip from a glass of a nice Chianti (hold up - isn't that from another film?!).

So.... I made the leap and treated myself to Core membership! :bademoticon: 
I don't know if I will particularly gain much from it, but I have wanted to upgrade more or less since I got here, so now I have!

I hope 2016 is treating you well so far and, if it isn't, then I hope things improve for you soon  

In the meantime, happiness and excitement exist in the form of anticipation for the next Loki, *ahem* Thor film to start shooting

Wow - I got to 2016. Not a big achievement you might think, especially if you were born this century. But a lot of my friends and family - and celebrities - didn't. So I am very grateful to have made it to the ripe age of 43. Am I in my prime? I do not know, but I am happy. So happy that I wrote a gift story, which is here for all you lovely #Loki fans.

Thanks for still being there and thanks for looking at my stuff. May you enjoy the rest of March 15th 2016 as much as I hope I will

So I logged on this morning to find one of my pictures has been looked at 3000 times since I made it 16 months ago for a preview picture of a fic I was writing at the time. It's a very amateur attempt at "Loki-lising" Tom Hiddleston from a screen cap of an interview in the Avengers promo tour, but I am quite proud of it for a couple of reasons. One is that I don't think I changed the appearance too much, just giving a slight green shade to the eyes and a bit more hair, the other is that it is a picture I often turn to when I need a bit of a happiness boost, because he looks so thoughtful, peaceful and almost innocent - for the God of Lies!!

Thank you to everyone who has clicked to have a look. It's out there on the internet with my name taken off. I know it's in a prominent position, but I was really quite proud of it when I made it, so remember you saw it here in its original form!
